The UK leader in Stud Welding and Refractory products
Monalite® Boards are high-density calcium silicate insulation boards engineered for demanding molten metal handling, thermal processing and industrial insulation applications. Designed to combine excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability and machinability, they provide reliable performance in environments where conventional insulation materials are unable to withstand prolonged thermal and mechanical loading.
Widely specified throughout the aluminium casting and foundry industries, Monalite Boards are used for the movement, distribution, flow control and casting of non-ferrous metals. Their smooth, non-wetting surface prevents metal adhesion while maintaining excellent resistance to thermal shock, cracking and wear during repeated casting cycles.
Manufactured using precision moulding processes, Monalite Boards offer exceptional dimensional stability, low thermal conductivity and excellent resistance to chemical attack. Their homogeneous structure allows components to be machined to close tolerances, making them ideal for complex fabricated parts and specialist thermal management applications.
Monalite Boards combine thermal insulation performance with exceptional mechanical strength, making them ideal for demanding molten metal and industrial processing environments.
