Insulfrax® Boards are rigid alkaline earth silicate (AES) insulation boards manufactured from Insulfrax low biopersistent fibres blended with specially selected inorganic and organic binders. Designed to provide excellent thermal insulation performance, high-temperature stability and good mechanical strength, they offer a lightweight, energy-efficient solution for a wide range of industrial thermal management applications.
Combining low thermal conductivity with excellent resistance to thermal shock, Insulfrax Boards deliver reliable insulation performance while remaining easy to cut, shape and machine using standard workshop tools. Their rigid construction provides good handling strength and fabrication flexibility for both standard and custom insulation components.
Available in standard and low-density grades, Insulfrax Boards provide tailored solutions for high-temperature sealing, thermal protection and industrial process insulation applications operating up to 1100°C.
