Isofrax® 1260°C Paper is a high-performance insulation paper manufactured from advanced silica-magnesia fibres formed into a lightweight, flexible nonwoven matrix. Designed to provide reliable thermal insulation, sealing performance and ease of fabrication, Isofrax Paper delivers exceptional thermal stability in demanding high-temperature applications.
Manufactured using a specialised papermaking process, the fibres are randomly orientated and bonded into a uniform structure that combines low thermal conductivity with excellent flexibility and handling characteristics. Its lightweight construction allows it to be easily wrapped, shaped, cut and fabricated into a wide range of insulation and sealing components.
The patented silica-magnesia fibre chemistry provides outstanding resistance to thermal shrinkage, excellent chemical stability and superior resistance to molten aluminium wetting when compared with conventional ceramic fibre materials. These characteristics make Isofrax Paper particularly suitable for demanding industrial applications where long-term thermal performance and dimensional stability are critical.
