The UK leader in Stud Welding and Refractory products
Insulfrax® Paper is a high-performance insulation paper manufactured from advanced calcium magnesium silicate (CMS) fibres formed into a lightweight, flexible nonwoven matrix. Designed to provide reliable thermal insulation, sealing performance and ease of fabrication, Insulfrax Paper offers an effective solution for applications requiring thermal management in demanding industrial environments.
Manufactured using specialised papermaking technology, the fibres are randomly orientated and bonded to create a uniform material that combines low thermal conductivity with excellent flexibility and handling characteristics. Its lightweight structure allows it to be easily wrapped, shaped, cut and fabricated into a wide range of insulation and sealing components.
The advanced calcium magnesium silicate chemistry used in Insulfrax Paper provides excellent thermal stability and superior resistance to molten aluminium wetting when compared with traditional alumina-silica ceramic fibre products, making it particularly well suited to non-ferrous metal processing applications.
Insulfrax Paper combines thermal insulation performance with excellent flexibility and fabrication characteristics, providing a versatile solution for high-temperature sealing and thermal management applications.
