The UK leader in Stud Welding and Refractory products
Fiberfrax® Ceramic Fibre Paper is a versatile family of lightweight, nonwoven insulation materials manufactured from alumino-silicate ceramic fibres. Designed to provide reliable thermal performance, flexibility and ease of fabrication, Fiberfrax Papers are used across a wide range of industrial applications requiring thermal insulation, gasketing, heat shielding and refractory back-up insulation.
Manufactured using a specialised papermaking process, the ceramic fibres are randomly orientated and held within a uniform matrix to produce flexible sheets with excellent thermal stability and consistent performance. By combining different fibre types, binder systems and additives, the Fiberfrax Paper range provides solutions for applications ranging from general industrial insulation to demanding aerospace and high-temperature process environments.
Offering low thermal conductivity, low heat storage and excellent chemical resistance, Fiberfrax Papers provide dependable insulation performance while remaining easy to cut, shape, wrap and fabricate into custom components.
Fiberfrax Papers combine thermal efficiency with exceptional flexibility and fabrication characteristics, making them suitable for a wide variety of high-temperature sealing and insulation applications.
