The UK leader in Stud Welding and Refractory products
Fiberfrax® Durafelt™ is a high-performance refractory felt manufactured from Fiberfrax ceramic fibres and specially selected organic binders. Produced using an advanced felting process, Durafelt combines low thermal conductivity with excellent flexibility, resilience and handling strength, making it an ideal solution for high-temperature sealing and thermal management applications.
Designed to withstand demanding thermal environments, Durafelt provides reliable insulation performance while remaining lightweight, flexible and easy to fabricate. Its unique construction allows it to be wrapped, cut and shaped to suit a wide range of industrial applications where conventional insulation materials may be difficult to install or adapt.
Available in multiple grades with classification temperatures up to 1600°C, the Durafelt range offers versatile solutions for high-temperature sealing systems, expansion joints and thermal barrier applications.
Durafelt combines thermal insulation performance with exceptional flexibility and resilience, making it particularly suitable for sealing and fabricated insulation applications.
