The UK leader in Stud Welding and Refractory products
Cerafelt® is a high-performance refractory insulation felt manufactured from Cerachem® fibres using a specialised hot-pressing process. Designed to combine excellent thermal insulation performance with outstanding fabrication characteristics, Cerafelt is particularly suited to the manufacture of precision die-cut components, thermal seals and high-temperature insulation parts.
Unlike conventional insulation materials, Cerafelt offers a semi-rigid structure that is neither brittle nor dusty, allowing it to be easily cut, stamped, waterjet cut or machined into complex shapes with tight dimensional tolerances. This makes it an ideal solution for applications requiring custom insulation components and thermal management systems.
With a wide range of densities and thicknesses available, Cerafelt provides engineers and manufacturers with a versatile insulation material capable of delivering reliable thermal performance in demanding industrial environments.
Cerafelt combines excellent thermal insulation performance with superior fabrication capabilities, making it ideal for converting into precision-engineered thermal management components.
