The DFX Alumina range provides high-performance ceramic wear protection for industrial equipment exposed to severe abrasion and continuous material movement. Manufactured from high-grade sintered alumina, DFX products combine exceptional hardness and wear resistance with a significantly lower weight than conventional steel wear protection.

Available in 92% to 99% alumina, the range includes standard tiles, mosaic and hexagonal mats, pipe tiles and weldable systems, alongside bespoke ceramic components and fully engineered lining solutions. With standard thicknesses from 3mm to 50mm and thousands of tiles held in stock, MMES can provide solutions for both routine maintenance and complex wear applications.

DFX ceramics feature an ultra-fine grain structure and Mohs hardness of 9, providing exceptional resistance to abrasive materials in demanding processing and bulk handling environments.

At approximately one-third the density of steel, alumina ceramics provide highly effective wear protection without introducing the same level of additional weight.
